With previous releases for Kruder & Dorfmeister's legendary G-Stone Recordings, Stereotyp weighs in for his Seagrave release with a fierce selection of digital-dancehall and jump-up bass athletics. Punchy vocal collabs and floor-wrecking instrumentals blaze and cook: amidst the massive vocal contributions, the mighty Warrior Queen delivers a darkly humorous yet almost poppy chorus over smouldering charcoal bass, off-setting the febrile intensity of the Daddy Freddy, Bounty Killer and Ras B flows. In every respect, the prodigious energy on this release is deftly controlled, handled with a painterly feel for line, texture, force and form.
